Seamless vehicle pick-up and drop-off at MIG Motors
MIG Motors is a well-established company providing car services including garage maintenance, bodywork repair and sales of used vehicles. As an authorised distributor for brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, Škoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, they operate across nine locations in East Flanders and are committed to delivering top-quality service.
The challenge
MIG Motors aims for maximum customer satisfaction with its broad service offering and multiple branches. A common question that arose was: “Is it possible to come at a later time?” or “I’m stuck in traffic and can’t make the opening hours”. This led to situations where staff had to work overtime, or vehicles could not be delivered on time.
The solution
By implementing a smart locker system (named “Collibree” via Mobile Locker) at each branch, these problems were solved. Keys, vehicle documents and other essential items can now be exchanged quickly via a system not tied to fixed closing times. Customers receive a QR-code by email to access the locker, and they pay their invoice directly at the built-in payment terminal.
The result
This results in seamless collaboration between MIG Motors and its customers. Deliveries can be pre-scheduled, but there’s also the possibility for ad-hoc drop-off or pick-up via the online management platform. Customers now have the flexibility to pick up their vehicles or drop off replacement cars at any time, 24 hours a day! The cost of the locker investment is quickly recouped thanks to the reduced staffing needs and lower demands at the service desk.
